Manufactured Sand

Manufactured sand is a purpose-made crushed fine aggregate produced from a suitable source material. Production generally involves crushing, screening and possibly washing.

Washed crushed sand

Washed sand is a finely graded sand and is used for ready mix concrete, plaster, asphalt, precast & block products etc. Washed sand is surface mined, screened and washed to remove silt and clay, then allowed to drain. It also removes excess salt that is harmful for cement concrete and allied products. It is typically light grey color.

Dry washed sand ( using Fisher air classifier)

Dry Washing is a process of using ( Fisher)Air Separator and removing ultrafine microns from the usual crushed sand to produce high quality manufactured sand. This technology gives quarries the ability to produce dry engineered sand to a quality level that can meet the specifications for both concrete and asphalt sands. Dry washed sand normally outperform natural sand when concrete properties such as compressive and tensile strength are compared.

Gabbro black sand

Gabbro Black sand is produced as a result of crushing & screening and usually sized below 5mm. Gradation of gabbro black sand vary depending on the density of rock crushed and the kind of equipment used. Usually the percentage of fines are higher compared to washed sand. No processing is done on gabbro sand and is supplied as it is received from screening.
